It tests abilities important for a successful course of studies. This test can be taken in many countries. You can take TestAS twice a year. It is offered in German and English languages.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in Germany is cheap and affordable. You need to know that education is not completely free in Germany as students will need to budget for their own living expenses. It is estimated at 600euros which covers the cost of accommodation, food, travels, books, stationeries, health care, registration fees etc.

So, in one year the estimated cost of living is put at 8000 euro. This is an estimate amount; it could be more or less. It depends on the individual involved since different people have different lifestyles. Also, you must obtain a visa. But before it is granted, you will need to show proof that you can afford to take care of yourself while studying in Germany.

  • Present a sponsor’s letter obtained from a friend or relative in Germany who’s willing to take care of your living expenses in Germany.

Low Tuition Engineering Universities (Schools) in Germany

1. Technical University of Munich

This is one of the best engineering colleges in the country and boasts not only of an amazing and helpful faculty but world class research centers as well. The university has research centers for cancer, food and nutrition and catalyst research. Engineering students have countless options to choose from such as aerospace, medicine, nuclear energy and so on.
