Cost of living in Canada is dependent on the type of accommodation you intend to rent, feeding, transportation etc. The expenses in a month may be close to $ 1,255 Cdn or $1,505 Cdn. The breakdown below may assist;

Admission Requirements
For admission into undergraduate programs in Canada, the Student must have a High School Leaving Certificate which qualifies a student for University Study, this also qualifies international students for studies in Canadian Universities; and for post graduate program like Masters a valid Bachelor certificate or its equivalent is always required while for Ph.D. programs a valid Masters certificate will be required.
Language Requirement
The English language is the major language of communication in Canada and as a result, it is the primary language of instruction in Canadian Universities. Therefore, students seeking admission in Canada are expected to demonstrate a high proficiency in the English Language.

International Students who are not from English Speaking Countries are expected to demonstrate their English proficiency by taking approved English based exams. It is advised you contact your University for the kind of approved English-based exam in the school.
How to Apply
The procedure to apply for admission varies from one University to the other and also the nature of the Course of study.
Deadline
The deadline for intake of international students is normally fixed by the department of course of study. The following is recommended
January – March: this is the period when the adverts are normally made, so online application can be submitted with the supplementary documents such as the reference letter, transcripts etc.
April – August: admission letters are offered to successful applicants. The deadline to accept the admission and complete the online registration will be indicated.
July – September: commencement of online course registration.
Early September: Commencement of Orientation program
Mid of September: Commencement of Lectures.
